I've heard it said that children of nagging moms become very successful in their careers. This must be true because my mom nagged me into my dream career.

 

My entire life, my mom predicted that I would become a writer. She bought me my first journal and even wrote my first entry! But me, being little miss independent, I always fought her on it. "No!," I declared, "I want to be a dolphin trainer."

Fast forward 26 years, what did I become?

 I became a copywriter.

Now I happily spend my days penning ad copy, writing poetry, and coming up with 'the big idea' for clients like Heinz and Uber.
